I have high hopes for 2009. For obvious reasons, 2008 was a shocker of a year for us - Nana's death, another ectopic and then the rollercoaster they call IVF, Nath's new job and the ups and downs of that (all is good now) and a few other little things that just added to the problems.
However, I must say that whilst I am glad to see the back end of 2008 I have learnt alot about myself, my marriage, my family as a result of all those trials. What an amazing husband I have and I am forever grateful for my fantastic marriage. I am truly blessed. Isy continues to show her resilience and resourcefulness, as well as how much of a delight she is to be around. I am in constant awe of her, she inspires me to be a better person every day.
So what will 2009 hold for us? We have deemed it "the year where things get done"....on our list are
*have a baby (or be well and truly pregnant by the end of the year)
*get the carport, driveway and fences done
They are the two main things, however we want to continue to make our family's happiness our number 1 priority. Other things don't matter as long as we continue to enjoy spending as much time together. That part should be easy, being around Isy is so much fun.
Scrapping wise, I am happy with where I am. Saying that I am applying to be on the DT at Scrapbook N' Bits. I love it there...
Oh I have other exciting news...Scrapbooking Creations are doing a piece on my "Artist in the Spotlight"....so stay tuned for when that will be out....I don't think till the 2nd half of the year.
We had a great time in Wollongong over the Xmas break and a lovely NYE. Here's 2 pages from the mini album I just did on our holiday.
I am starting back at SMF next week, permanent 2 days a week (Monday and Tuesday) and whilst I do have mixed feelings about it, I am truly happy about it...just anxious about a few things to do with home, uni, Isy, etc. But we will work it out.
Well that's it from me....hope your 2009 is a good one too!!!
