Bon's DT comp!!!!

Bon's Scraps DT Comp will commence on Monday 24th August!

First and foremost forum interaction is a big part of being on the DT...

Whilst the competiton is running please try to interact on the forum the amount that you would usually...

There will be 2 spots up for grabs each with a 2 month trial leading to a 12 month contract.

The comp will run for 4 rounds.

If you make the design team you will recieve an exclusive monthly kit and also a store discount, in exchange you will create an average of 3 set pages a month.

Full Design Team expectations will be posted shortly."

Well no surprises here...Of course I will be applying!!!! I love it at Bon's and I think I am ready to not only try out but actually be on a DT!

So wish me luck...saying that though....there are a huge number of very very talented scrappers trying out too!!! SO it is anyone's game!

A day out with friends

Today was a lovely day....not a very long one but a lovely day nonetheless...

We don't get to spend as much time with Flynn and Jodie atm, due to Jodie's work committments but Jodie didn't have to to work today so we decided to take the kids to Myuna farm (just near Dandenong).

The kids loved it, the weather was pretty good (got a bit chilly towards the end) and we saw heaps and heaps of animals!

Scrapping wise what have I been doing...NOT MUCH!!! just been busy and very tired....I think I've lost my mojo!

and the last few pages I've done I've not been happy with AT ALL...but i'll show you anyway!

One of my favorite things...is reading! I’m going to bed early tonight (before 10) and reading!
A few plans for the rest of the week... take Isobel swiming tomorrow, visit hospital for tests Friday and see Dr.

Nothing much...

has been happening...just hanging out, scrapping....oh AND I FINISHED MY DIPLOMA OF PROJECT MANAGEMENT!!!! very very very excited about this!!! now we have Tuesday AND Thursday nights free!!!!!

Oh and have you seen the latest edition of Scrapbooking Creations (it's #67)? Well I'm the Artist in the Spotlight this month....let me know what it's like...I haven't seen it yet, as I haven't' got my contributor's copy yet :0

Loving the lack of pressure at the moment! So I'm playing around with my camera, loving the way my photos have changed now I know how to use my camera LOL....here's a few of my scrapping creations I've done recently!






This was for the May Write Now challenge over @ Bonsscraps

This was a BC done with the lovely Peta MacBeth....just love her BC's. I used the May Boy Kit from Bonsscraps. I was AFRAID of this kit...but just LOVE how this turned out! Aren't those flowers gorgeous - from Bon's of course (they're sold out now but check out her shop for other yummy goodies!).

I'm not a 123 Challenge CT member anymore (just have too much on now) but I did manage to do the June Challenge this month...criteria is material (my background), more than 6 buttons and handstitching....I was loving this until I added the buttons...I'll blame Gigi for that one LOL.


And this is one of my favs at the moment...did this for the June Write Now at Bon's....

This was using the monthly room HERE as inspiration. Just love how this turned out. I've finally learnt how to change the AWB, ISO and EXP on my camera....wow, the photos are sooooo much better!

Why?

The question needs to be raised....why do I have a blog?

I'm so bad at updating....How long ago did I blog?2.5 months ago...that's shocking! Ok so settle in, here's an update.

1) Work is fine....a few minor issues but nothing I can't sort out IYKWIM.
2) Nath is great. Job is good.

3) Isobel is great. No more crying when we leave her at Day Care (yay). Toilet training all done, she is such a star. She's also moved rooms and is in love with her big bed and new room.

4) We went camping at Cumberland River (Lorne) for Easter. It was out first time camping as a family and whilst it was a bit of hard work, we had a great time, despite the zip on the tent (Dad's tent) busting on Saturday. So we are going to get a new tent with separate rooms, a new mattress (NOT a lilo) for us, a camp stretcher for Isy and a camp stove and we are going to try and go camping at least twice a year as a family. Great, cheap, relaxing holidays!

5)We are on the IVF train again. I won't be writing too much about it as it is such a long process and we are trying to not think about it all the time, let me just say it is going well, I have lost my mind, can't remember things at all, been quite silly but we are definitely on our way to having another baby. The next time I update this blog, hopefully I will be pregnant!

6) Scrapping wise, haven't done a lot! March I only did 4 LOs, no not in a week...in the whole month!!! April has been slightly better.....went to a crop with Bon's - did acouple of LOS there and I am hanging out for the CC over at Bon's this Tuesday, have some great photos to scrap and need a challenge or 2 or 3. Here's my latest stuff.
