a weekend of scrapping

2 months really? since I blogged???? how slack. my excuse has been I've been shedding 12 kgs....yep 12kgs...so exercise and eating right have taken over my mindset and my TIME...and sadly scrapping and blogging and most other stuff has taken a back seat.

But the inaugural SCRAP AND CHAT RETREAT was held on the weekend just passed and I must say it was a great weekend. 26 ladies all scrapping, eating, drinking, laughing, chatting, running, well Jasmine Shea and I went for a run each day, we had to to combat the ridiculous amount of food consumed!

So I only managed 11 layouts, one which was a blind scrap run by the owner of SFS herself Peta Macbeth.

Here are a couple of the layouts. The rest I will share over the next few days.

and it's on AGAIN NEXT YEAR, same time hopefully, last weekend in April, with a three night option. Spots will be limited, smaller retreat under 30 people so it will be first in with deposit best dressed.

A scrappy weekend away

last weekend I had the pleasure of a weekend away in Daylesford with Jasmine Shea, Leonie Neal-Dawson and Melissa Millar...no kids, no husbands, just us and our arts and crafts!

It was great. I always come home tired from these things, too many late nights, long scrappy days, wine and too much food!

But I did do 11 layouts which is pretty standard for me...but about half of them were 8.5 x 11 which is not standard for me...and I must say I think I love the new size!

Short post

Just a short post to show you some scrapping I did a few weeks ago when Nathan and I had a weekend away just the two of us. Yep I scrapped! It was raining so I scrapped and he watched the cricket - PERFECT!

A scrappy weekend away

Yes I was lucky enough to go away for 3 days child and husband free!!! and I got to scrap with 9 fantastic creative women!!! We stayed at a house that slept 10!! in Barwon Heads. Drank alot, scrapped heaps, ate way too much and laughed and laughed and laughed!!!

It was perfect timing for me, and, I think, everyone else too. I really needed a break. And a full night's sleep lol. Mind you late nights and my body used to getting up early meant I probably got less sleep than when at home, but at least it was 6 or 7 hours straight and not broken.

We're already talking about the next one...perhaps in January sometime!

I scrapped 11 pages which I'm super happy about. Will show them over the next few days.
